1 cup butter 3/4 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 2 cups quick oats 2 cups chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped nuts/score bits – optional Method: Preheat oven to 375 degrees Cream butter with both sugars until fluffy Add eggs and vanilla until well combined Mix flour & oats with the baking soda Add flour/oat mixture to the butter mixture Mix in chocolate chips & score bits/nuts Drop cookie dough onto parchment lined cookie sheet (12 per sheet) Yield: 36-40 cookies Bake 10-12 min or until golden brown Place on a cooling rack |
